ANIMATION INDUSTRY AND ITS PROCESSES
Animation is just like creating a series of motions of frames and picture. In this technique we use to move the pictures in a continuous manner by means of software. Its a complete dynamic process in which we manipulates the object according to their behaviour. Cartoons, fantasy movies are some examples where we use to apply animations. By the animation we can implement our imagination practically which means our imagination is not only limited to us in-fact we can give them a platform to survive in the real world.
Life without animation is just like adding a salt for the tasste of the food.Actually we are surrounded by the animation from a calculator to our computer system. We now a days are daily utilizing the applications of animation that we see in facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. There are various industries where the animation have higher demand includes – 2D and 3D animation industry, game designing, E-learning, Architectural industry, print Media, Multimedia and Advertising industry, IT and web industry and lot more.
In IT industry there is regular need of animation to explain technical issues to display video animation, graphics, drawing, and documents.
Animation technique uses Computer animation including 2D Animation and 3D animation.2D animation uses bitmap graphics using techniques like interpolated morphing, onion skilling.2D animations has many applications including flash animation and power point animation.3D animation based on virtual reality and can also used in presentation graphics to give flair to the visuals
The first animation was created by Charles-Emile Reynaud who was a French Science teacher. In 1937 Disney created the first animated feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
2D Animation basically refers to simple hand drawing animation..It is Further divided into – pre production, production, and post production. In pre production, a complete basic plot of animation is designed including character actions, dialogues and camera framing, how the design will look and what would be the strategy to implement the futher stages of animation,
Once the story is ready, actual production begins in production stage.Special attention are given in this stage so that the project would meet deadline.Actual work starts here which includes layout, modelling, texturing, lighting, rigging and animation
Post Production is the is final step in film creation that must be executed after the filming or when the shooting ends. These includes the editing of raw footage, inserting effects, dubbing to names are all some of the post production tasks.
3D Animation has much more depth and it looks much more realistic than 2D.3D Computer Graphics are implemented in 3D Models. 3D models are not confined to virtual space. A model can be displayed visually as a two-dimensional image through a process called 3D rendering, or used in non-graphical computer simulations and calculations. The images o videos that are not possiible in 2D is possible by 3D.The best example of the 3D animation is the movie Jurrasic Park
There are both advantages and disadvantages of 3D and 2D animation but which animation is best depends upon the clients need but like all animation let you do things that are completely impossible.
