For meat and seafood lovers, she swears by the Wasabi Prawns, crispy prawns with the ‘Vongwong” special wasabi coating and traditional Peking Duck served with spring onions, cucumber, steamed pancakes and plum sauce. With over 50 varieties of dim sum in this new menu, Vongwong is a gastronomical delight for any dim sum lover.
It would be unfair to exclude their award winning dish, the Pacific Black Cod VSOP, black cod glazed with honey garlic sauce flavored with VSOP cognac and served with spring onion tempura. A dish that is exclusive to Vong Wong in Mumbai and is the highlight of this new menu is their Duck Curry. Known for their stupendous Crispy Aromatic Duck s well as the Peking Duck, the owners decided to add yet another interesting variation. The duck curry consists of roasted duck in the traditional red curry sauce. A must try!
Their vast and colorful range of cocktails is also a part of this new menu. Owner Aashiyana says her personal favorite is the Apple and Hazelnut martini. The Magical Ming comes a close second followed by their fresh fruit cocktails.
