Tristan Fuller-Introduction To Sequential Art (Introduction To Comic Creation)

Tristan Fuller-Introduction To Sequential Art (Introduction To Comic Creation)
Comics are an exciting medium, and are constantly being reimagined. Now, it is very easy to break out into the comic world and make a career out of writing and illustrating graphic novels, comics, and strips. In this workshop, attendees will be walked through the foundations of comic creation, from thumbnails to final artwork. Instruction will focus on the storytelling aspects of the medium, and how to link together static images to create a dynamic visual story. After lessons heavily influence by the work of Scott McCloud in Making Comics, students should walk away from the course with a one-page comic they created during the workshop. All materials for the course can be easily found at any local art supply store. The course will be taught by Tristan Fuller, a comics creator majoring in Sequential Art at the  Savannah College of Art and Design. He is currently the artist for several upcoming books, and is also writing and illustrating a series of comics and a graphic novel independently. You can look at some of his art here:
